🌍 What’s Happening?
In the last few years, researchers have made a startling discovery: microplastics — tiny plastic particles smaller than 5 millimeters — have been found in human placentas.
These particles are so small they can enter the bloodstream, cross the placental barrier, and reach developing babies.

- Bottled water & plastic cups – even “BPA-free” bottles can shed plastic.
- Food packaging – cling wrap, plastic containers, fast food wrappers.

- Avoid heating food in plastic containers.
- Vacuum often with a HEPA filter to reduce microplastic-laden dust.
- Wash new clothing before wearing to shed excess fibers.
- Choose natural fabrics like cotton, linen, or wool over synthetics.
